How to Apply?

Open your browser and visit the official website for the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana scheme. - Apply for rooftop solar
On the homepage, click the "Apply for Rooftop Solar" button located on the left side. - Fil details about yourself
Provide your state, district, electricity distribution company, and customer account number, then click Next to proceed. - Create your account Enter your email address and phone number to complete the registration process and create your account.
- Login into the portal
Use your electricity customer number and mobile number to log in to the portal. - Select rooftop solar
Select the "Rooftop Solar" option and wait for the feasibility approval from your DISCOM. - Install solar rooftop system
Once you receive the feasibility approval, install the solar rooftop system with a registered distributor like Ksquare Energy. - Submit plant details
After installation, submit your plant details and apply for net metering through the portal. - Inspection by the DISCOM
Once the net meter is installed and inspected by the DISCOM, a commissioning certificate will be issued via the portal. - Enter your bank details
Log in to the website, enter your bank details, and upload a canceled cheque. The subsidy amount will be credited to your bank account within 30 days.
